Howell Building Care LLC is a residential remodeling contractor serving the Lake Mills/Jefferson County area. We handle a wide range of interior and exterior home improvement projects — decks, bathrooms, basements, kitchens, windows, and doors — for homeowners throughout the area.

Position: Carpenter
Full-Time.

We're looking for an experienced carpenter to join our growing field team. We are hiring for both rough and finish carpentry across a variety of residential remodeling projects.

Responsibilities

Perform rough carpentry: framing, subfloor, structural repairs, deck construction.
Perform finish carpentry: trim, cabinetry, doors, window installation, custom millwork.
Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
Accurately measure, cut, and install materials to spec.
Collaborate with the project coordinator and field team to keep jobs on schedule.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.
Communicate professionally with homeowners on-site.

Basements.
Kitchens.
Window & Door Installation.

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of professional carpentry experience (2+ years preferred).
Experience in finish carpentry, rough carpentry, or both.
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varied physical conditions (kneeling, climbing, standing for extended periods).
Team-oriented with good communication skills.
